During the first residency, Jeremy Marozeau, a double bassist and psychoacoustics researcher, transformed the château’s stones into vibrating speakers using transducers that captured their resonant frequencies. Alongside Swiss musicians Raphaël Ortis and Charlotte Nordin, they created a musical piece titled Château Fort, directly inspired by the location.
On September 7, 2024, the public experienced a unique promenade concert, where the musicians performed an electroacoustic piece, with Charlotte on vocals. Spectators engaged with the music in an entirely new way, experiencing an immersive sensory event that allowed them to connect deeply with the château’s history.
